Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the calipers are forged into a lightweight, one-piece design that ensures unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance. They feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to allow for direct bolt-up to your vehicle's OEM caliper bracket locations. The two-piece floating rotors are standard, allowing the outer section to shift slightly for better self-centering, reduced brake drag, and improved performance through more even application. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic for optimal street and occasional track performance, offering a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear. The operating temperature range for these pads is 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, reducing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use.
