Big Brake Kit

This system features an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. The caliper weighs just over 5 lbs and incorporates protection grooves for bridge tubes, along with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Stainless-steel brake lines are utilized to prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport employs a 2-piece disc assembly, which lowers both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications include a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses that can warp the disc. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. The Supercomp Big Brake Kit includes replacement calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, and all necessary hardware. Specific components available as product options include rotor sizes (330mm front rotor diameter), rotor designs (slotted), brake pad choices (SC5 Street or RC1 Race), caliper choices, and color options (standard Orange, Red, Yellow, Black, or custom colors). This particular kit, the BKSB170-836SO, is specifically designed to fit the Subaru Tribeca B9 models from 2005 to 2013. It features 8-piston front calipers and 330mm slotted floating rotors.
