This kit integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensures continuous cooling and refreshment of the brake pad surface during braking. At the core of this kit is an extreme, lightweight one-piece caliper. CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, it weighs just over 5lbs and features a differential bore configuration. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to prevent warping from thermal stresses. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The choice between cross-drilled (cooler, recommended for daily drivers) and slotted (recommended for track use) rotors is available depending on your needs.
