This sophisticated, bolt-on system enhances the performance of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for optimal self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant construction. The calipers feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. The kit includes a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer rotor section can adjust slightly for better self-centering, leading to reduced brake drag and improved performance through more even brake application. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, and slotted for more track-oriented use. Standard equipment includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure, offering quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The kit also comes with NAOC Ceramic SC5 street pads, optimized for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F.
