Building upon the reputable Procomp kit, this Supercomp version boasts significantly larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper for reduced drag and improved performance. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-free component. The aluminum pistons within the calipers offer superior heat resistance, maintaining optimal performance even under demanding conditions. Key features include lightweight forged one-piece calipers made from aerospace-quality aluminum for uniform strength and thickness. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to move slightly, aiding in self-centering and reducing brake drag. For customization, calipers are available in standard painted colors like orange, red, black, and yellow, with premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color options available. Included SC5 Street Pads offer excellent performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads, and operate optimally between 194°F and 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for more track-focused applications. This big brake kit is built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. It is specifically designed to fit 2007-2011 Toyota Camry models.
