This sophisticated kit is designed as a direct bolt-on, eliminating the need for any vehicle modifications, ensuring a straightforward installation process. At its core, this big brake kit features an 8-piston configuration with a 421mm slotted, two-piece floating rotor design. The floating rotor allows for slight shifts, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and enhancing overall performance through more even pad application. The calipers themselves are constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, creating a lightweight yet incredibly strong one-piece forged design that resists corrosion. To further enhance heat resistance and ensure consistent operation, the calipers utilize aluminum pistons. Included with the kit are Ksport's NAOC Ceramic pads, designed to offer optimal braking performance for both street use and occasional track conditions, while reducing brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads and minimizing rotor wear and noise. This kit also comes standard with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined for precision, ensure that these larger-than-OEM calipers bolt directly to your factory caliper mounting locations. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, which operate optimally between 194°F and 1022°F. Ksport offers a wide range of custom caliper color options, including standard painted finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes in Silver, Gold, and Titanium, and even glassy/hard anodized colors. Over 20,000 custom color finishes are available for a truly personalized look. The Supercomp kit comes with slotted rotors, recommended for vehicles that see more track time; cross-drilled rotors, which run cooler, are recommended for daily driven vehicles. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order and typically require 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. Fitment is confirmed for the 2006-2013 Volvo C70 models. In the event of a fitment issue, especially if fitment was confirmed by the sales team, Fitment Industries will work to rectify the situation, potentially waiving restocking fees if the item is in like-new condition.
