Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Volkswagen Golf 14" Big Brake System is engineered as an extreme brake upgrade, offering superior stopping power without requiring vehicle modifications for installation. This system builds upon the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, brake pads, and an increased number of pistons. Standard full-floating rotors are included to ensure optimal self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are constructed from a one-piece solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, providing lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, reducing warping from heat buildup, and the aluminum center sections act as heat sinks. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. This big brake system is appropriate for 18-inch wheels and above and comes with a 12-month limited warranty.
