Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated, bolt-on system surpasses the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant structure. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined for precision, allow the larger calipers to bolt directly into the OEM caliper bracket locations. This kit utilizes a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer section can shift slightly, improving self-centering in the caliper. This reduces brake drag and optimizes performance through more even pad application. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, which provide excellent braking for both street driving and occasional track use, offering a significant reduction in brake dust and noise compared to race pads, with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Customers can select between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles experiencing more track use. The Supercomp kit is built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. Fitment is confirmed for 1988-1992 Volkswagen Corrado models, with specific listings available for G60 trims.
