The Ksport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade for your vehicle's braking system, providing enhanced power and consistency under demanding conditions. Each caliper is a one-piece forged construction from aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength, rigidity, and resistance to corrosion. The kit utilizes aluminum pistons with high-temperature seals for reliable operation and an opposed-piston design for even brake pad wear. This kit features two-piece rotors, with the center sections made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum to reduce rotational mass and improve heat dissipation. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use due to their ability to manage heat, dust, and gases more effectively. Standard equipment includes SC5 Street Pads, which offer good performance for daily driving and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also comes with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that eliminate line expansion under pressure, leading to a firmer pedal feel and quicker response.
