This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit, featuring larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-free component. The calipers also incorporate aluminum pistons, which offer enhanced heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operational performance. The Supercomp systems come standard with floating two-piece rotors, which allow for slight shifts to better self-center in the caliper, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more even application. The kit includes NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, providing optimal braking for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track time, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they run cooler. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. This specific kit is designed for 2WD vehicles only, unless otherwise stated, and includes 15-inch slotted rotors. The available fitment includes various Audi A6 and S6 models from 1998 to 2003.
