Construction highlights include lightweight forged one-piece calipers made from aerospace-quality aluminum for uniform thickness and robustness. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift as needed, promoting better self-centering, reduced brake drag, and improved performance through more consistent application. Buyers can customize their calipers with a range of standard painted colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) or opt for premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium) and custom color options. Included are SC5 Street Pads, featuring NAOC Ceramic compound for optimal street and occasional track use, offering a 50% reduction in brake dust compared to race pads and minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use.
