Big Brake Kit

This advanced bolt-on system builds upon the strengths of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. All Ksport calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant one-piece design. The calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain optimal performance. For the rotors, you can choose between slotted or cross-drilled designs; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors offer better cooling for daily driven vehicles. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and enhancing performance through more even pad application. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. Calipers are available in standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium high-polish and custom color finishes also available. This kit is specifically designed for the 1999-2005 BMW M3. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
