This sophisticated, bolt-on system integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads. Constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, the lightweight, forged one-piece calipers provide exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. They feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to your OEM caliper bracket location, accommodating the larger caliper size. The standard two-piece floating rotor design allows for slight movement, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and enhancing performance through more even application. Rotors are available in slotted or cross-drilled options; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler running, while slotted are advised for track use. Included are SC5 Street Pads made with NAOC Ceramic compound, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing hose expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
