Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated, bolt-on brake system builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. A key feature is the full-floating rotor design, which enhances self-centering within the caliper for reduced drag and improved braking performance. All calipers are forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-free construction. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and reliable operation. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift, aiding in self-centering and performance. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, and slotted for more track-focused use. The kit includes NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, providing optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, improving pedal response and feel by preventing expansion under pressure. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. The specific part number for this kit is BKBM320-846CO. It is designed to fit various Mini Cooper S models from 2014-2018.
