The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents the company's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver maximum stopping power for your Chevrolet Cruze (2010-2015 models). It builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. Standard full-floating rotors are included to enhance self-centering within the caliper. Construction highlights include one-piece forged calipers crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and promoting more even pad application for boosted performance. Customization options are available for caliper colors, including standard painted finishes (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) and premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium), with over 20,000 custom color finishes also offered. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material for optimal street and occasional track performance. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F and 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker pedal response by eliminating expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles used more frequently on the track.
