Big Brake Kit

It builds upon the features of the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, alongside an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering capabilities. Each caliper is constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. The calipers feature aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance and reliable operation, complemented by high-temperature seals and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The differential bore design and CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets allow for direct bolt-on installation to your OEM caliper bracket location. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The two-piece rotor assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. Ksport offers a choice between cross-drilled or slotted rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use due to their ability to expel gas and pad debris more effectively. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The included SC5 Street Pads provide excellent braking performance for street and occasional track use, minimizing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. This kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. It is designed for the Dodge Neon from 2000-2005. Please note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order and typically require a 4-6 week production and delivery time.
