Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated, bolt-on brake system builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count. Standard full-floating rotors are included to enhance self-centering within the caliper, leading to reduced brake drag and improved overall performance. The calipers are precision-machined from a 1-piece billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers also utilize aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to other materials, maintaining uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. Standard on all Supercomp systems is a floating two-piece rotor design. This feature not only lowers brake drag but also contributes to more even brake application and enhanced performance. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, formulated from NAOC Ceramic material to provide optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range between 194°F and 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, which prevent line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customers can choose between Slotted or Cross Drilled rotors. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they dissipate heat more effectively, while Slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that will see more track time. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order and typically require 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. The available fitment for this kit is for the Dodge Stealth from 1991-1999.
