Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated bolt-on system enhances performance with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, featuring more pistons and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering and reduced drag. The calipers are manufactured from a one-piece solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance. They are equipped with aluminum pistons to withstand higher temperatures. This big brake kit utilizes floating two-piece rotors, standard on all Supercomp systems. The floating design allows the outer section of the rotor to shift slightly, improving caliper self-centering, reducing brake drag, and ensuring more even brake application for enhanced performance. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, which are better suited for track use. Included are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50% compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, the kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customization options are available for caliper colors and finishes. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
