This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with more pistons and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-free component with a one-piece construction for consistent thickness and durability. The Supercomp system includes standard floating two-piece rotors. These rotors feature an outer section that allows for slight movement, enabling better self-centering within the caliper. This design reduces brake drag and improves performance through more consistent application. For optimal street and occasional track use, the kit comes with NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which offer reduced dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), less noise, and minimized rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. You can choose between Slotted or Cross-Drilled rotors: Cross-Drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to better cooling, while Slotted rotors are advised for more track-oriented use. Calipers are available in standard painted colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) with options for premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium) and custom color choices.
