Big Brake Kit w/ Forged Aluminum Calipers

This kit builds upon the features of their Procomp line by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering capabilities. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. The aluminum pistons within the calipers offer improved heat management. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic), which provide optimal performance for both street driving and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust (by 50% or more) and minimizing noise and rotor wear. These pads are effective within an operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Standard on all Supercomp systems are floating two-piece rotors. The floating design allows the outer rotor section to shift slightly, improving self-centering within the caliper. This reduces brake drag and enhances performance through more consistent pad application. For customization, customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler running characteristics. The kit is built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure. Ksport Big Brake kits fit 2WD vehicles only. The kit is compatible with the Mazda 6 from 2002-2008, including the Mazdaspeed model. Custom caliper color options are available, including standard painted finishes (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) and premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium), with over 20,000 custom color finishes also being an option.
