Big Brake Kit w/ Forged Monoblock Calipers

This kit builds upon the proven design of Ksport's Procomp line, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-quality aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant one-piece construction. They feature aluminum pistons that offer superior heat resistance and high-temperature seals, ensuring reliable operation. The opposed piston caliper design also contributes to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Ksport includes DOT-compliant stainless steel braided brake lines, which eliminate expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This Supercomp kit features two-piece floating rotors, available in either slotted or cross-drilled options. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles used more frequently on the track as they help expel gases and pad debris more efficiently. Cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler and are suggested for daily driven vehicles. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. The optimal operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F and 1022°F. Each kit includes a comprehensive set of components: two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all required mounting components and hardware, including CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that allow for direct bolt-on installation to OEM caliper bracket locations.
