Aluminum pistons are utilized for their superior heat dissipation properties, maintaining optimal performance even under demanding conditions. Key components of the Supercomp kit include forged one-piece calipers, which offer unparalleled strength and even thickness distribution due to their construction from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more consistent application. Standard SC5 NAOC Ceramic pads provide excellent braking for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust (by 50%+) and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F.
