Big Brake Kit w/ Full-Floating Rotors

This kit builds upon the Procomp series with significantly larger calipers, rotors, and pads, featuring an increased piston count and full-floating rotors for improved caliper self-centering and reduced drag. The calipers are precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are incorporated for enhanced heat dissipation and reliable operation under extreme conditions. Construction details include a one-piece forged caliper design, machined from aerospace-quality aluminum for uniform thickness and strength. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined, ensure a direct bolt-on fit to OEM locations despite the larger caliper dimensions. The two-piece floating rotor design allows for slight expansion and contraction, enhancing self-centering, reducing brake drag, and boosting overall performance through more even pad application. Standard with the Supercomp system are SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic), offering optimal braking in street and occasional track use, with reduced dust (by 50%+) and noise compared to race pads, operating effectively between 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. For customization, Ksport offers a range of caliper colors including Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium high-polish finishes like Silver, Gold, and Titanium, and even over 20,000 custom color options available. Rotors can be specified as either Slotted or Cross Drilled. Cross drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use due to their ability to expel gas and debris more effectively.
