This advanced bolt-on system builds upon the renowned benefits of the Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count. Standard full-floating rotors are included to enhance self-centering within the caliper, leading to reduced drag and more consistent braking. Crafted for unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance, each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum using a one-piece forged construction, ensuring uniform thickness and durability. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain optimal performance. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to adjust for better self-centering, further minimizing brake drag and optimizing brake application. This kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal performance in street driving and occasional track use, offering a significant reduction in brake dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel, quicker pedal response, and preventing line expansion under pressure. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are advised for track-focused applications.
