It features one-piece construction from aircraft-grade aluminum calipers with aluminum pistons for lightweight strength, corrosion resistance, and better heat management.

This kit integrates advanced brake technology, ensuring the brake pads are continually cooled and refreshed under heavy braking. The lightweight, one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs. and featuring an opposed piston design that enhances both pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. Aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are standard. Many applications include a floating disc option, which helps mitigate thermal stress from extreme heat, preventing warping and cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor not only reduces braking noise but also efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. This kit is specifically designed for the rear of the Toyota MR2 Turbo models from 1991-1995. It's important to note that the OEM handbrake will not function with this kit installed.
