At the core of the kit is an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet. This caliper features a differential bore configuration, weighs just over 5 lbs each, and includes machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed-piston caliper design significantly enhances pad grip and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a more responsive pedal feel. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly with an aluminum center, reducing both rotational mass and unsprung weight. This design promotes quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. A floating disc option is available for many applications, which helps prevent thermal stress-induced warping and cupping of the braking surface.
