Standard features on this caliper design include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper layout enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot pattern on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and accelerates the expulsion of gas and pad debris compared to conventional designs. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing before shipment to ensure optimal performance.
