The KSport ProComp Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated, bolt-on solution for enhancing your vehicle's braking performance, especially under sustained high-heat conditions like track use. Key features include 1-piece calipers milled from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, providing exceptional light weight, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets are utilized to allow these larger-than-OEM calipers to mount directly onto existing points. The brake rotors are a 2-piece design featuring an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This design also minimizes the chance of rotor warpage by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction. Heavy-duty caliper seals are incorporated for sustained high-temperature racetrack use, and stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, resulting in a more responsive pedal feel. This ProComp Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the 2006-2009 Honda S2000. The kit includes 2-piston calipers, drilled and vented rotors with a 286mm (11.3") outside diameter, and requires a minimum wheel diameter of 381mm (15").
