Big Brake Kit with Aluminum Calipers

This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering capability. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to OEM caliper bracket locations. Standard on all Supercomp systems are floating two-piece rotors, which allow for slight movement to improve self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag and boosting performance. Customization options for caliper colors are extensive, with standard options like orange, red, black, and yellow, as well as premium high polish and anodized finishes available. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC Ceramic pads offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use. They operate efficiently between 194°F - 1022°F, significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), and minimize noise and rotor wear. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, and slotted for more frequent track use. The Supercomp kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. This big brake kit is built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. It is designed for the Volvo V50/S40 2004-2012 (FWD).
