It builds upon Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons for superior braking force. The calipers are a highlight of this kit, featuring a lightweight forged one-piece construction from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum. This method ensures unparalleled strength, corrosion resistance, and uniform thickness. The calipers also utilize aluminum pistons, which offer enhanced heat resistance and reliable operation under demanding conditions. Complementing the calipers are floating two-piece rotors, a standard on Supercomp systems. The floating design allows the outer rotor section to self-center, minimizing brake drag and maximizing performance through more consistent pad application. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material to provide optimal braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F.
