The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to combat brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance. The kit features a lightweight, 6-piston caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, finished in red. It incorporates a differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel pad wear plates for enhanced durability and performance. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. The kit includes stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure. The 2-piece floating disc assembly is designed to reduce rotating and unsprung weight while mitigating thermal stresses from extreme heat. This floating design prevents disc warping and cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce noise and expel gas and debris, and this specific kit includes cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving due to their superior cooling capabilities. The rotor diameter is 286mm (11 inches). It is a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade that enhances brake power under sustained high-heat conditions without necessitating vehicle modifications. Application: 1989-1994 Subaru Legacy.
