The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to reduce brake fade and refresh brake pad surfaces under braking. The kit features an extremely lightweight one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs. each. It includes differential bore configuration, machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a two-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit features cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors.
