Big Brake Kit with Forged Aluminum Calipers

Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. Aluminum pistons are used for their superior heat resistance and unwavering operational reliability. Constructed from a solid billet of aerospace quality aluminum, the one-piece forged calipers offer exceptional strength and perfectly even thicknesses. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly as needed, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and enhancing overall performance through more consistent pad application. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, offering optimal braking for street use and occasional track sessions, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Further enhancing performance and customization, this kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. You can select between cross-drilled or slotted rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. This specific Supercomp Big Brake Kit is designed for the 2000-2004 Subaru Legacy GT models.
