Big Brake Kit with Forged Aluminum Calipers and Standard

This kit builds upon the Procomp system, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, a greater number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering capabilities and minimize brake drag for optimal performance. Each caliper is forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, resulting in a one-piece construction that is exceptionally lightweight, incredibly strong, and resistant to corrosion. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which are superior in heat resistance compared to other materials, ensuring consistent performance even under extreme conditions. The Supercomp kit includes floating two-piece rotors, which allow the outer section to shift as needed for better caliper alignment, reduced drag, and more even brake application. Included are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated to provide excellent braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear, operating optimally between 194°F and 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles.
