Big Brake Kit with Full-Floating Rotors

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as an extreme braking upgrade for select Honda models, offering the highest level of stopping power without the need for vehicle modifications. This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, plus increased piston size. The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. They feature aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding high temperatures, promoting consistent brake pad grip and wear through an opposed-piston design. Standard on these calipers are high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The kit includes lightweight two-piece rotors, available in either cross-drilled or slotted options, with a 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center section to reduce rotational mass and heat buildup. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driving due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are advised for track use to manage heat, dust, and gases. The standard floating rotor design allows for slight shifting, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and enhancing performance. The standard kit includes (2) forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, (2) lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 street brake pads, (2) stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware.
