Big Brake Kit with Full-Floating Rotors

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake System represents the pinnacle of braking enhancement, engineered as an extreme upgrade for vehicles like the Honda Civic Si. It builds upon the benefits of standard kits by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, complemented by an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper in this system is constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. An opposed-piston design ensures uniform brake pad grip and wear. Standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The system utilizes two-piece rotors, available in either Slotted or Cross Drilled configurations, to achieve lightweight construction and fade-free performance. The lightweight center sections, crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for quicker wheel response and enhanced braking performance. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, significantly reducing the risk of warping due to heat buildup. Furthermore, the aluminum center sections act as effective heat sinks, dissipating heat faster. Included in the standard kit are two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (Slotted or Drilled), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, all necessary mounting components and hardware, and an owner's manual.
