The Ksport Supercomp 8-Piston Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of brake system upgrades, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power. This kit features larger calipers, rotors, and pads compared to the Procomp series, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering and reduced brake drag. The calipers are precision-machined from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are incorporated for superior heat resistance, while high-temperature seals and stainless steel pad wear plates contribute to longevity. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, further improving self-centering, reducing drag, and boosting performance through more even pad application. Rotors are available in either cross-drilled or slotted configurations; cross-drilled is recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted is advised for track use. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic), offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with a significant reduction in brake dust and noise. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure.
