Big Brake Kit with Full-Floating Rotors

This system surpasses the capabilities of Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum into a one-piece, forged design, ensuring exceptional strength, lightness, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which enhance heat resistance and maintain optimal performance under demanding conditions. This big brake kit utilizes a floating two-piece rotor design, standard on all Supercomp systems, allowing the outer rotor section to adjust as needed. This feature promotes better self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag and improving overall performance through more consistent pad application. The rotors themselves are available in either slotted or cross-drilled configurations. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use due to their ability to expel gas and debris more effectively, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler. Included in the kit are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Brake Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering a significant reduction in brake dust and noise while maintaining rotor longevity. The kit is completed with CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that allow for direct fitment to the OEM caliper bracket locations. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. This kit is specifically designed for the Honda Element, model years 2003-2011. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, and customers should allow 4-6 weeks for production and delivery.
