This sophisticated, bolt-on system enhances braking performance through larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, combined with an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors that ensure better self-centering within the caliper for reduced drag and improved performance. The calipers are meticulously crafted from a one-piece billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, providing exceptional lightweight strength and immunity to corrosion. They also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. Standard on all Supercomp systems are floating two-piece rotors, which allow the outer section to shift slightly for better self-centering, further reducing brake drag and boosting overall performance. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are preferred for track use. The kit comes with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal street and occasional track performance with reduced dust and noise, functioning optimally between 194°F and 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
