Big Brake Kit with Full-Floating Rotors

This sophisticated system builds upon the capabilities of Ksport's Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, alongside an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. The inclusion of aluminum pistons further boosts heat tolerance and guarantees unwavering performance. Key components of this kit include lightweight, forged one-piece calipers machined from aerospace-quality aluminum, providing uniform thickness and robust strength. CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets are included to facilitate a direct bolt-on fitment to the OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to adjust for better self-centering, reducing brake drag and improving application for increased performance. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads) and minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Completing the package are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled designs. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. This kit is built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is designed to fit 2WD vehicles only unless otherwise specified.
