Big Brake Kit with Full-Floating Rotors

This kit builds upon the Procomp series by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, a higher piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are forged from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum in a one-piece construction, ensuring unparalleled strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized within the calipers to offer superior heat resistance and reliable operation under demanding conditions. This system features floating two-piece rotors, designed with an outer section that can shift slightly, allowing for better self-centering within the caliper. This design minimizes brake drag and optimizes brake application for improved performance. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for more frequent track use. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC Ceramic pads designed for optimal braking in street conditions and occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50% compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. The kit also comes standard with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines prevent hose expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines.
