This sophisticated, direct bolt-on system enhances your braking capabilities significantly by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads than standard offerings. It also features an increased piston count and full-floating rotors that aid in self-centering within the caliper, reducing drag and improving overall braking efficiency. Constructed with precision, the calipers are forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The aluminum pistons offer superior heat management for consistent performance. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, which provide optimal braking under street and occasional track conditions, minimizing dust, noise, and rotor wear with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, offering a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. This Supercomp kit utilizes floating two-piece rotors, available in either slotted or cross-drilled designs. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use to help dissipate heat and gases, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler.
