The aluminum pistons within the calipers offer superior heat resistance, maintaining optimal performance under demanding conditions. Ksport's Supercomp kits feature a one-piece forged caliper design for unparalleled strength and even material distribution. The included CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets facilitate a direct bolt-on installation to your vehicle's OEM caliper bracket location, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, enhancing self-centering within the caliper for reduced brake drag and more consistent application. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors: cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are advised for track use. Included with the kit are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust and noise while minimizing rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by eliminating line expansion under pressure.
