Big Brake Kit with Full-Floating Rotors

This sophisticated, direct bolt-on system requires no vehicle modifications for installation, making it a straightforward enhancement for performance vehicles. The kit features a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance. Inside, aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance and reliable operation, complemented by high-temperature seals and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups. Complementing the calipers are CNC-machined carbon steel brackets that allow the larger system to bolt directly into the OEM caliper bracket location. This system utilizes a two-piece floating rotor design, standard on all Supercomp models. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use due to their ability to expel gases and debris more efficiently. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use, reducing dust, noise, and rotor wear with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. The product is listed as fitting various Subaru Impreza WRX STI models from 2002-2007, with specific fitment confirmed via the vehicle search tool.
