The calipers are forged from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. They feature aluminum pistons for enhanced heat tolerance and reliable operation. Key components of this kit include a floating two-piece rotor design, which allows the outer section to shift for better self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag and improving application. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This Ksport Big Brake Kit is built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. The rotors are available in either Slotted or Cross Drilled options, with Slotted recommended for track use and Cross Drilled for daily driven vehicles.
