The full-floating rotor design allows for slight adjustments, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and optimizing braking performance through more even pad application. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers offer exceptional lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. Aluminum pistons are utilized within the calipers to provide enhanced heat dissipation and reliable operation under demanding conditions. Furthermore, the kit comes standard with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which resist expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport offers customization options for caliper colors, including standard painted finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes in Silver, Gold, and Titanium, and various anodized colors. Rotor options include either slotted or cross-drilled designs. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles experiencing more track use. The Supercomp kit includes NAOC Ceramic pads, optimized for street use and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear, with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F - 1022°F. This kit is built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. It is specifically designed for Mercedes-Benz C-Class models from 2007 to 2013.
