This sophisticated, bolt-on system surpasses the Procomp kit with its larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, utilizing a one-piece forged construction for exceptional strength, lightness, and corrosion resistance. They incorporate aluminum pistons for superior heat management and reliable operation, along with machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined for precision, ensure a direct bolt-on fit to OEM locations, accommodating the larger caliper size. The system includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Featuring a two-piece disc assembly, this kit reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Included are SC5 Street Brake Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear.
