Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors

This kit builds upon the Procomp system by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, alongside an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering capabilities within the caliper. The calipers themselves are forged from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons provide superior heat dissipation and reliable operation. Ksport utilizes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger caliper size. The two-piece floating rotor design is standard, allowing for slight adjustments for better self-centering, which minimizes brake drag and optimizes pad application for improved performance. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to cooler running temperatures, or slotted rotors, preferred for track use to expel gas and debris more efficiently. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated from NAOC Ceramic for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads), along with minimized noise and rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. Furthermore, D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, improving pedal response and feel by preventing line expansion under pressure. This kit is custom-built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
