This kit builds upon the Procomp series with significantly larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, while incorporating an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering for reduced brake drag and more consistent application. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant 1-piece construction. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance and durability. The two-piece floating rotor design is standard, allowing for slight adjustments for better self-centering, reduced drag, and improved performance under extreme conditions. Rotors are available in slotted (recommended for track use) or cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) configurations. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure. Calipers can be customized with various standard painted colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) or upgraded to premium high-polish finishes like Silver, Gold, Titanium, or Glassy/Hard Anodized colors, with over 20,000 custom color finishes available.
