Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a one-piece solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. The calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat dissipation and consistent performance. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material. These pads provide optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track conditions, significantly reducing brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads) while minimizing noise and rotor wear. They are effective within an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Further enhancing performance and customization, the kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines resist expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The rotors are available in either Slotted or Cross Drilled options: Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while Slotted rotors are advised for more track-oriented applications.
